很长时间没有Windows 7的消息了，这次 TG Daily 带来的消息似乎颇为可靠：据某业界认识透露，微软已经为合作伙伴准备好了Windows 7的第一个里程碑版本（M1），该版本作为验证目的向合作伙伴提供，代号为"Blackcomb Vienna"，同时还有一份相关的路线图，其中显示Windows 7将于2009年下半年RTM。
根据微软发布的消息，Windows 7 将会在2010年正式发布，所以，2009年下半年RTM也是非常可能的。微软拒绝对此做任何评论。
