美国特拉华州衡平法院一名法官做出裁决，公开了 Yahoo 股东起诉董事会的诉状内容，其中列举了 Yahoo 抵制微软收购过程中的一些不当做法，诉状还披露，微软曾于 2007年 1 月向 Yahoo 提出每股 40 美元的收购报价，但遭到拒绝。
原告代理律师将诉状原文发布到网站上，其中还附有法官对公开诉状一事进行解释的信件。William Chandler 法官称，"被告（Yahoo 董事会）未能尽到对已公开的诉状内容做出合理解释的义务，没有提供更具说服力的理由。"

CNBC 消息确认 ，雅虎全球裁员计划已经开始，并且提前在中国执行。雅虎将在 公布四季度业绩报告 后，宣布一项大规模的裁员行动，不过目前具体裁员数字未公布，坊间传闻被裁减员工人数从"数百"至2500人不等。
在此之前，中国雅虎已经执行了裁员近百人的计划。新任中国雅虎总裁金建杭在发给内部员工的邮件中表示，中国雅虎必须改变，不但业务和架构要调整，心态上也要从一个大企业向一个创业型企业转变。雅虎不愿意对裁员的任何计划发表具体的评论。据悉，雅虎这次全球裁员的目的，是希望在某些领域增加投资，同时也会取消一些无关紧要的业务。
