TechCrunch 上周披露 ,微软向上月被裁减的 1400 名员工寄发信件称,之前向他们发放的遣散费过于"慷慨",并客气地请他们返还其中的一部分。
信件中解释称,由于行政上的疏忽导致了遣散费的计算错误,希望员工能够返还多支付的部分,并对此举给被裁员工带来的不便表示真诚的歉意。
微软一位发言人在接受西雅图邮讯报时证实了该信的真实性,并表示这是一件"公司与其波及人员的私事"。
