据负责音乐制作、演唱会策划的公司Emusic员工透露，去年8月1日该公司和小室哲哉签订了唱片原盘制作、原盘版权等合约，然而今年1月小室哲哉却又和另一家公司B签订了同一张唱片的合约，这毫无疑问是违法的二重买卖。
2月份时三方进行了对话，此事以小室哲哉把从B公司得到的3000万定金还给B公司告终，而这3000万却是由Emusic垫付的。而该公司之所有肯帮忙垫付，理由是小室哲哉承诺会好好工作作为回报。
