Windows 7 RC 有 x86 3 2位和 x64 64 位两个版本 ，包含英、法、德、日、西班牙语五种语言，下载许可期限暂时到今年 7 月份位置。该预览版系统不限制密钥使用数量，使用有效期截止到 2010 年 7 月 1 日。不过，从 2010 年 3 月 1 日起就会每隔两小时关机一次，并将在最终到期前每小时提醒一次。
