微软和 Yahoo 今天公布了已签署搜索合作协议的消息 ，为今年7月底公布的初步协议画上句号。双方原计划今年 10 月底签署该为期10年的合作协议，但因部分细节问题而推迟。
在微软和 Yahoo 正式开始合作之前，还需获得政府监管部门的批准。微软和 Yahoo 认为会在明年初清除最终羁绊。该协议若获得监管机构批准，微软将于明年年中在美国为 Yahoo 提供搜索技术。
几经波折后，微软和 Yahoo 终于走到一起。2008 年 5 月，微软曾试图以 475 亿美元的高价整体收购 Yahoo ，折合每股 33 美元，但遭 Yahoo 拒绝。
