在北京 IDF 上， Intel 终于正式发布了代号"McCaslin"的超级移动平台(UMP)，为UMPC提供处理器和芯片组平台支持。
Intel UMP的处理器型号为"A100"和"A110"，代号"Stealy"。据悉来自Dothan核心的Pentium M移动处理器，拥有512KB二级缓存，支持400MHz前端总线，同时加入了即将出现在四代迅驰Santa Rosa中的深度睡眠模式技术，但对运行时的功耗节约贡献不大，仍需采用主动式散热。
与A100和A110搭配的芯片组型号945GU和ICH7U。...
