The turkey is in the oven about now, and that means in a few hours, many Americans will have full bellies and find themselves yawning uncontrollably. Some of it is due to the big meal, right? Maybe but maybe not according to one of Creative Weblogging's blog editors over at the Well Woman Blog. She says to blame it on the bird:
Thanksgiving is a time for fellowship, giving thanks for the good things that have come to us, and a time for feasting. After that big Thanksgiving supper. you may find yourself becoming sleepy. Not surprising. Your body is working hard to digest the excess food.
But that might not be the only reason for the drowsies...
