RFID Weblog Named to CNET's Blog 100
Filed in archive News by Creative Weblogging on October 7, 2005
Palo Alto, California and Cleveland, Ohio, October 7, 2005 - CNET has published its list of the "Blog 100", a list of top technology blogs. The RFID Weblog (http://www.rfid-weblog.com) was included in the list of top 100
blogs, under the category "Cutting Edge".
"We recognized early on that radio frequency identification (RFID) technology would be a growing area of interest," says Torsten Jacobi, CEO of Creative Weblogging. "Even though RFID has been around for decades, the business community is still learning about it. We started the RFID Weblog in early 2004 as a service to business executives to help them put RFID into context and make informed decisions about RFID deployments in their companies."
Says Anita Campbell, Editor of the RFID blog: "My goal is to make the RFID landscape understandable to business executives. I strive to give balanced information and bring an informed viewpoint to the growing discussion and news stories about this fascinating technology. There is a lot of unnecessary fear and doubt about RFID, and many urban legends. My goal is to talk about what is real, not imagined or sensationalized -- and make it all easy to absorb by busy executives."
