Being an amateur golfer myself (emphasis on amateur), I love to read about great courses and get fun tips -- seems I can never get enough.
EagleParBirdie.com is the home blog for the amateur golfer. This is where you can find news and information on the tours, equipment, great courses to play and some key instruction advice from some pretty talented teaching pros. It's also your blog, so feedback is what we live for! Those of you who are golfers know that "Eagle Par Birdie" stands for the description of the scores for individual holes. Par is considered the standard or average score assigned to a particular hole -- usually a 3, 4 or 5. A birdie is when you beat the average by one shot, or "one under" for the hole. That's not bad. An eagle is when you beat the average by two shots. The pros shoot eagles all the time, but amateurs rarely experience them.
Eagle Par Birdie is edited by Chris Henry. Chris is a Canadian broadcast journalist with more than 30 years experience at the network level in both radio and television. He has covered major news and sports stories and his work has been seen and heard on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, TSN, Speed TV, Sports Channel America and Newsworld International in the U.S. Chris discovered golf in 1979 and has been badly hooked ever since.
Visit Eagle Par Birdie and see what it is all about.
