The Creative Weblogging network has grown and now numbers 118 blogs. To help with growing traffic of all the blogs, we have decided to create new positions -- Channel Editors for the English and French language blogs.

The role of the Channel Editors will be to assist the individual Editors with content strategies, commenting on other relevant blogs, link building, and overall traffic.

Responsibilities include:

• visiting each blog in the channel daily
• giving feedback and suggestions to the individual Editors to help them hone and refine their own unique blogging styles
• recommending strategies to build traffic and attract inbound links, and assisting with hands-on tactics to grow traffic, links and readership
• actively going out and finding and commenting on other relevant blogs and engaging in linking, and otherwise assisting in a hands-on way to market the blogs and build community
• otherwise giving feedback and actively getting involved in activities to help grow traffic to the channel by a minimum of 5% month over month

Here are the proposed Channel breakdowns with the approximate number of blogs each position would be responsible for:

Business - (13 blogs)
Digital Media and eCommerce/Internet - (11 blogs)
Technology and Wireless - (16 blogs)
Dreams, Celebrities and Gaming/Gambling - (16 blogs)
Family, Recreation, Educate, Life Sciences - (21 blogs)

Please note that the number of blogs in each channel may change as new blogs are added or adjusted.

Compensation will be a base pay of $300 per month, plus 20% of the increase in Google AdSense revenues for that channel. For example, if Google AdSense for the channel in March was $3,000, and it increased by $1,000 during April, the Channel Editor would receive $200 (20% of the increase of $1,000) plus $300, for a total of $500 for the month of April.
