Hi! - My name is..

Eric - and since June 5th I am a member of the marvelous Creative Weblogging Team here in sunny Palo Alto, California. Actually I am from Germany, studying Media Computer Science in Dresden.
I am a lucky guy to have the awesome opportunity of completing a 6 month internship in the land of unlimited possibilities. And let me tell you - the U.S. is really great!
I remember the phrase "everything is bigger in Texas" but compared to Germany everything is bigger everywhere I look! I really fell in love with the beautiful landscape of Muir Woods, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and the beaches of San Diego. And there is so much more to discover and experience - I hope the days are passing by slowly for my remaining 3 months in the U.S.

But let's get down to business. My tasks at Creative Weblogging are various, reaching from account management and customer support to media design and blog template changes. For this reason it never gets boring - and I love that. I have already gained a lot of experience about online marketing in the U.S. as well as the front- and backend development of our worldwide blog network.
My position in the company can be described as an interface between our development department and our sales team to bridge the gap of the technical and marketing oriented way of thinking. Furthermore I am responsible for the design of blog headers, graphics and flash animations.

I relish the diversified tasks which always require new approaches and I am proud to be a "gearwheel" that keeps our worldwide network working.
