CW introduces today - Tiago Caspar
Filed in archive Interviews by Creative Weblogging on July 11, 2006

My parents decided to name me Tiago Gaspar, and I'm typing from Portugal, Lisbon. Currently I'm at university in Coimbra studying Communication and Multimedia Design, and before that I finished high-school in Mozambique.
Where are you blogging for CW? Since when? I've been blogging at The Gadgets Weblog, since September 2005.
What would you like to tell about yourself?
Not much, I hate talking about myself so if you (readers) got any specific question just ask and I'll answer right away.
How did you discover the blogoshpere ? Why do you like to blog?
Late nights surfing on the web was the cause to discover the blogosphere and all the hype surrounding it. Actually, the part that caught my attention the most was a couple of bloggers that made me realize the potential of blogs and the blogosphere.
The art of blogging is what makes me like to blog, there's a natural mystic in all of it.
How did you become a blogger for CW?
I got a hold of the last author of the Gadgets Weblog - Shane - at a big webdev forum, in which he made a post looking for someone to replace his spot because he was starting another blog for CW - Digital Shot.
After applying, sending some sample posts and exchanging some e-mails with TJ, here I am today.
What experiences did you have with CW? Do you like working with CW?
CW has come a long way since I joined the network, there have been many good improvements and only a few things that I would change right now.
In the last couple of months/weeks the changes have made a good impact and the effect is good, maybe the outside people don't notice it but the ones that work with CW know what I'm talking about.
Overall, the experience has been pretty good.
What are you occupied with when you are not blogging?
Not by order:
- Playing soccer
- Hanging around with friends
- Surfing the web
- Drinking non-alcoholic beer
- Long walks on the beach
What would you like to get or do ?
I would like to win the first prize of the Euromillions (European lottery), my dream is to get rich (or die trying).
The people that say that money doesn't bring happiness don't know where to go shopping
What opinion have other people about you? Give a quotation, please ...
Paul Short from BlogLogic has a cool opinion about me - "he's talented, knows his stuff, is in demand throughout the gadgetsphere, has a really cool name - and we got him. He's also European."
Are they right?
Of course.
Do you like to make a final remark?
Not really, but I wouldn't mind reading final remarks from the readers after the interview. Interaction!
