What is your name and where are you from?
Hi, I'm Michael I am presently living in Chicago and I am from this area; I have also lived in Seattle, San Diego, Orlando and Hartford. As for where was best, I'm torn, the food in Chicago and on the East coast is so much better but the weather in the South and on the West coast is so much warmer.

Where are you blogging for CW? Since when?
The blog that I contribute to is IfEnergy.com and I think I'm one of the more recent additions.

What would you like to tell about yourself?
That's open, well the most important thing in my life is my daughter. She's 14 and it's fun watching my kid grow up right in front of my eyes. Aside from that, when I'm not talking to my daughter, friends, or blogging; I'm working on a small scale business venture with a software architect.

How did you discover the blogoshpere ? Why do you like to blog?
Wow, this was actually one the quickest turn arounds I've come across. While surfing the internet a couple of months ago I came across a Creative Weblogging article. When I got to the site I started looking around and discovered blogging for the first time... I was so impressed that I applied right away to be a blogger.

Blogging for me is the best of: internet interaction, it's especially cool when a reader responds to a post with a comment or sends an email, I spent a number of years working in the energy field so it's fun learning more about and writing about this area, and I really like the more open expression that's accepted in the blogoshere.

What experiences did you have with CW? Do you like working with CW?
Yes, I like working for CW, I'm new to this so I have more questions than answers, I'm getting great support. Probably the biggest surprise for me was the difference between working with a network like creative weblogging and going it alone on the internet, I've had a couple of websites and there's really no comparison.

What are you occupied with when you are not blogging?
I stay busy pretty much of the time every now and then I like to join my friends for a drink and I have a great family that I visit with. I'm pretty much caught up with daily Starbuck's trips. I play blackjack as a hobby and every now and then I muster up the nerve to go play ultimate frisbee with my younger brother's group of friends. But honestly my absolute favorite thing to do is ski, for me the slopes are a complete rush.

What would you like to get or do ?
Travel to the med. or Russia for that matter.
