Classical Drives Automobile Blog Joins Creative Weblogging

Classical Drives is a blog about collector cars and classic vehicles. The tagline says it all: "The cars. The history. The fun stuff."
The articles in Classical Drives thoroughly capture the history, the glamour and the entertainment of these beautiful vehicles. Something else I love about the site is the set of gorgeous images. The blog is like a treat to which we can quickly become addicted and want more, more, more.
The blog is written by Philip Powell (with the occasional guest author). Philip is an award-winning Canadian writer who began as a motorsports commentator, magazine editor, and class-winning road racer. This was followed by a lengthy career in the ad agency business, which took him first to New York and then to London as creative director of the Ford of Europe account. After six years abroad, Powell returned to Canada, writing and directing commercials for Esso (Exxon), General Motors Canada and BMW USA. Since 1997 he's been working exclusively for the Internet and currently writes new vehicle reviews for About.com as well as producing Classical Drives. Philip now lives in Sidney-by-the-Sea, on British Columbia's Vancouver Island.
What a nice addition to the network. Go check out Classical Drives.
