Another big day for Apple...

Everybody is waiting full of excitement here in the Silicon Valley what Chief Executive Steve Jobs will unveil today 10:00 AM PST (1:00 PM EST) at a special media event in San Francisco.
Analysts are betting on a 3.5-inch display touch screen iPod and a new form for the smaller iPod Nano. There is also speculation that Apple could pull a surprise out of their sleeve and show off a next generation iPod which will include digital radio along with an option to buy music directly from iTunes via WiFi.
Reuters says it may be more important than ever for Apple to keep its market-leading grip on music players as it finds its iTunes store increasingly under fire from content partners like NBC who are unhappy with how content is priced.
Within the last quarter the iPod sales accounted for 29 percent of Apple's $5.4 billion in revenue and the new models would also hit the shelves just in time for the holiday shopping season. 7 out of 10 digital media players sold in the United States are iPods, so updated models are also crucial to maintaining the market dominance of the iPods.
I am excited now and counting hours - you too?
