One woman quit her job in marketing to change careers and decided to try to earn money blogging. Colleen Lanin founded TravelMamas.com, combining her love of writing with her passion for travel. She came up with the idea for the blog after becoming a mom and looking for travel resources geared for travelers with young children.

She found that there was almost nothing available at the time, so she started asking friends and family for their advice instead. After a few family trips, she began typing up the tips she gathered from her experience and from fellow parents and pretty soon she realized that she had written a lot of material. She launched the blog as a way to build up her reputation as a travel writer and eventually hopes to publish a book on the subject as well.

Reports that celebrities like Charlie Sheen are earning up to $10,000 per tweet on Twitter are catching the attention of regular folks who may be wondering whether it's possible for them to make micro-blog money too. A social media expert at the University of Queensland I n Australia says that while celebrities can attract payments for tweeting product endorsements, non-celebrity individuals can make money from the site as well.

People can cultivate "personal brand value" online which can allow them to make money through social media platforms. They use the social media platform to construct a brand for themselves and then use social media as a continuous advertisement about themselves and what they do. Individuals using social media in this way can net themselves lucrative job offers and attract the attention of influential people in their industry. For example, an Australian senator recently advertised for a replacement media adviser exclusively on Twitter.

Many people are now jobless and have no idea how to feed themselves. What they do not know is that by opening a blog, they can be making a great fortune. Here is how.

Simply start your own blog at any site out there that hosts a free blog. Here is a simple site-weebly.com.

The site allows you to post your own articles and content as well as Google advertisements. The simple widgets means that no wordpress knowledge is required, nor is html required. Knowledge of meta tags is a bonus, and content writing is necessary.

You can get people to do this for you for several dollars, and perfect it yourself. Post it up on your blog and publish it. Every time somebody clicks on an ad in your blog, you earn easy blog money.
